During a sale, I attempted to upgrade to Ozone 11 Advanced through the official Native Instruments website. However, for some reason, I was unable to make the purchase.
Discrepancy Between the Announcement and Reality
Although the Native Instruments summer sale announcement clearly stated that an upgrade path was available, I couldn’t find any actual upgrade product listed on the sales page.

The product being sold seemed to be the same as iZotope’s new purchase price during their own summer sale (¥33,900)—not an upgrade price.
Found an Upgrade Option on Media Integration
After much frustration and searching, I discovered a valid upgrade product listed on the Media Integration online store (¥20,800).

Upon contacting the shop, they confirmed that this product is eligible for users who own Ozone 10 Standard via the Komplete 14 Ultimate bundle.
I was relieved and proceeded to purchase it.
A New Problem: Unable to Log Into iZotope
After purchasing the upgrade, I tried logging into iZotope's website and the iZotope Product Portal—but I couldn’t log in.
Even after requesting a password reset, no reset email ever arrived.
The Cause: A Hidden Pitfall
Here was the unexpected issue:
Since I had already activated Ozone 10 Standard, I naturally assumed it was tied to an iZotope account.
However, the Komplete 14 Ultimate version of Ozone 10 Standard is actually activated via Native Access, not through iZotope directly.
In other words,
I didn’t have an iZotope account in the first place.
Solution: Step-by-Step
-
Created a new iZotope account
-
Linked it with my Native Instruments ID (NATIVE ID)
-
Registered the upgrade serial purchased from Media Integration in my iZotope account
-
Ozone 11 Advanced was recognized and available for download/activation
-
Installed and confirmed Ozone 11 Advanced working properly within Bitwig Studio
I successfully confirmed that Ozone 11 Advanced runs smoothly in Bitwig Studio!
I had been struggling for a long time with the inability to upgrade to Ozone 11 Advanced via Native Instruments, but the issue is finally resolved—and I’m very satisfied.
I hope this information will help others who may be facing a similar situation.
